I swear it feels like I'm hitting with a wet paper bag, and just take a ton of damage in contrast to how it used to be. I guess that's the point but bleh. I feel like it's just going to drive an even bigger fork between players who have ultra high stats and everyone else

Haven't gotten a chance to play yet, but I think my favorite part is the discarding of the attack of opportunity system. Much better to simply suck the battle spirit out of the dead animal the moment you take their soul. That ephemeral phantasm ascends like an echo of the bear's dying roar... and my sword arm feels stronger!

The old way was so tedious, especially starting a new character. It's no fun sitting around dodging ants for hours just to learn a move.

That will depend on how heavy openings you've managed to give it beforehand.

Yes.

Can the Devs post all the new moves they've added? Or do they want it be mysterious? I've found "Full Circle" (AoE attack) and Raven's Bite (Worse Chop with better openings; Only axes.)

Add option to use F1 F2 F3 etc keys for the other 5 slots instead of shift+1 shift+2 shit. My hand is getting cramped just thinking about it.

I am no combat fiend, but I think this look better on paper than other system. Combat inherently must have end (harder to defense than to offense), player can react to opponent, no random element. We will see what this guru is saying though.

Ahh right, lol, I just came here to ask how to access the other 5, so you have to hold down shift ... that will make me confused in the fight, lol ... anyway, so far so good, just killed two bats, took longer than usual but no damage. :)

Moved up from bats to a fox... ended about as fast as before, love the LP gain based off the final damage delt bit.
