Why wasn't that the case in Legacy, Valten? Movement hits?
That was one reason for sure Jorb, but even the legacy system added a more meaningful fight without moving, one where you were using at least a variety of moves in tandem to try and outsmart your opponent.
With this system, fighting a character with roughly 4:1 the attributes i have (str, agi, most importantly) and maybe a 4:3 ratio in combat weight I'm able to mitigate all the double colored attack's damage, and keep any single colored attack damage to a very small amount. Just by spamming the same move over and over again. (quick dodge, or sidestep, ect)
The amount of time I have to find a way to get some distance away from the person attacking me is huge, be it jumping in a boat, horse, or running around a corner. On my lowly stated character spamming a single move. I haven't tested all the moves yet, nor the combinations of. But that's my first impression from 30~ minutes of sparing. Concept seems fun otherwise.
