fox meat gives a different bonus in stake and tubers, then bear meat does. To put it simply. The tubsers (carrots and beats) also add a different bonus to the dish as well. When you cook the dish it shows what % in each part if what.

as far as i know you can make a pie with sheep meat and will give different feps than one made with cow meat.

Thanks. I guess this makes crafting food a bit more complicated now. Are sausages affected by this as well? If so, then what's the point of the specified meat types for them then?

perhaps we could get a camp oven, (often called a "dutch" oven in the US) and some recipes for it, like pot roast or hassenpfeffer as well, that way we can use that annoying space in our fire inventory

Only the new sausage is affect by this change. The rest are still the same.
