hard to tell since you'll also get empty boxes from quests so they may have just dropped them like that to troll or it was another player

Had two now from questing, both with nice things in.

I kept my empty boxes as mementos.
A lot of people are throwing them back in the water, though... It's kind of annoying when you fish one and are so happy and then "nope, empty box!"

3 of the boxes I opened are littering my plot, they seem to want to stick around... who knows ill have a giant mess of them soon enough.

I kept one of mine, but I filled the other one with stuff from my inventory and put it back in.

I did drop a few presents but I crafted the boxes.
Duh should've used the ones I got... But nah, It's ok, it's nice to keep 'em :3
