You're better off starting now. Fewer people looking to take over the world as they're already found their corners and just goofing off and not really committing time to play. World resets are not a regular thing. World could last six weeks (shortest was actually about seven) or two years. The world is really only reset at development need.

Besides, I might be wrong - but guessing you are a new player, this might actually be the best time to join, learn the game, get help from people and be prepared to be more efficient and enjoy it better (instead of being squished by random griefers) when a new world starts ;)

Agreed, if you are a new player its best to play the current world so you have the ropes down when a wipe does happen to roll around. World starts have a real special feel to them, and not knowing how to raid ants isn't going to help ya.

Hello again everyone! It's nice to see H&H is still alive and kicking. Congrats on 10 years! I'm glad to be able to say I have been around for almost the entire time! :D

:?: Are there any plans for a W11 reset any time soon? :?:

The current world is fairly old now.

The longest so far has been wold 7... still running. (Though not many playing it. Nearly everyone plays the current worlds instead of the legacy server.)

There is a rough road map for the year. Loftar is currently working on a client rewrite and optimization to improve performance for those of us still playing on older hardware. I suspect the other project--"object controlled objects"--will require a world reset, so we may not see one before that is ready. There are a few player issues that many think should be addressed before a world reset, too.

Otherwise, we do try to keep world reset discussion, requests, and such in its own thread.

And welcome back!
