The amount of dead animals just laying around the world make it look like it's an apocalypse survival game.

Not being able to inspect animals is shitty

I'm not butchering this stuff until I get home and if I discover that one of the animals is high q back at the base how am I supposed to remember where I killed it?

could always skin them on the spot, unless you're using a survival alt to butcher, in which case, maybe it's a beneficial change after all if it rewards career hunters rather than players that use alts?
