Super neat update. Hopefully this will spur trade.

A few critiques: you should have some realm bonuses lock each other. For example, if a realm activates the mountain mining buff, they cannot also use the fertile farm buff. Currently I'm afraid the realms will just minmax the 'best' buffs and never use the less larpy options.

Also: no silkfarm buff? You could probably integrate it into the swan buff

A solution to mountain tradition is volunteer realm stones or whatever those things are called. They can be destroyed without challenges but anyone under the claim can extend them. They confer all the regular bonuses and create the same experience. The ones that use them though will have to protect them by other means. Claims walls etc.

a man need only strike another to make him evil."

[*]Mountain Tradition: Your people have lived near the roots of the mountains since the first settling, and heard the whispers of the Deep Things. Stone and Ore mined within your Realm is of increased qualities, and the populace also receive bonuses to their Smithing and Masonry abilities. Remember that the Realm must be extended to the cave levels to apply there.

All the other bonuses look really nice and unique, but this one is a terrible version and i would request it is changed before it left in place for too long please, as it goes from being an optional choice to help during mining to a requirement to having the best ore and coal and the kingdom will only apply it to them self and no one else ever. i would suggest changing it to something like the swan where bats have an increase quantity or quality or perhaps a chance to have trolls spawn on normal tiles and wander around mines.

"During the many years of mining your people enjoyed creating vast tunnel networks and grand caverns, but during a recent excavation you have disturbed a troll village and now trolls wander your halls and bringing misfortune to the souls that dare awaken them." Something like that would be unique and less pigeonhole design as this current design.

Please extend this in cave levels too, or it is just useless to anyone but the players that enact it. It is highly unlikely that we could persuade kingdoms to build a cairn in evey mine.

I actually see no reason realm blessings shouldn't automatically extend to the levels underneath. Aside from the bonuses/blessings they confer, they don't offer any protections like p- and v-claims, so there really isn't any downside to allowing that imo

Of course, whether it's a pain to adjust in the code is a totally different matter.
