You boil animal fat into rendered animal fat, takes 3 of em so 27 meat to make 1 soap

Not working. Do you need some higher-level skill for it?

I have regular animal fat, that I got while butchering animals. I have 3 pieces of it. I can't stick it in a cauldron, nor can I roast it on fire. Am I doing something stupid?

*C*raft - *P*rocess and Materials - *C*ooking and Ingredients, render fat is in there

Don't waste bread, use bones

Kaios wrote:You can right click bone ash and crumble it in to 0.20kg of ash. Ash can also be stored in a barrel or bucket.

I knew about bone-ash. If I had any bones, I would've used that method. Just wanted to know if there was anything quicker than bone-ash or bread-ash. I wound up going with the bread method.
Flour wouldn't have been an issue, I have a barrel with about 1k seeds of just barley. Another for wheat.

Weren't you able to put boards/blocks in a kiln to make ash? Maybe in legacy? W4/5? That's when I last played before 9.

You might be thinking of when boards and blocks would produce coal from being burned in a kiln, I don't recall them turning to ash.

Hm. Perhaps that's true. Sounds right.

Just as a tip to anyone avoiding damage - just use a horse to step on the snake. Kills it instantly.
