Why not % instead of flat? % would always make it viable.

The bonus given, so people who do it early (in character development) are not punished (getting 'cheap' skill levels added) compared to someone who completes the quest after having added some hundred points to the skill in question (thus getting 'expensive' levels added).

I personally think they should work like a gilding buff (add to the base skill up to the existing level) instead of incrementing the base skill.

u guys should make it so the farming credo gives two pumpkins!!!! also you should at least make it so peppercorn gives a guaranteed 2 per harvest, right now its just random between 1 and 2 which is a bit retarded imo!!

also the people demand shift dragging over areas to farm for trellis crops!!! its a bitch trying to click these!!!

Lore +15%
Increased cutting speed of trees and logs.
Carpentry +20%
Increased board and block yield from logs.
Strength +25%

Could be toned down but this way it works for both high and low.

IF percentage increase then probably 5% max would be sensible without destroying ballance of game

I see nothing wrong with a flat value. Experienced characters should be after the other buffs, not the skill increases. Inherited characters will make the most of the skill and attribute bonuses (Full refunds won't necessarily be as important, but nice if available). New players will struggle with completing some of the credo quests, anyway.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

The point of a flat value is to introduce a decision point on when it is optimal to get the credo. Earlier, when the buff means more as a percentage of total skill, or later, when each point saves you more LP.
