/sproing!!!! Shinies!!! I feel a dwarven urge to strike the earth!
That said, gem cutting could be a bit more of a mini-game.
Please introduce rings out of wood and lesser metals asap to make the gems not pointless for the average players that don't have a deep mining industry (thus are devoid of precious metals).jorb wrote:[*] Rings -- and, for now, only rings -- can be gilded using Gemstones. [*] A bit rushed, so there are a couple of things missing here in terms of graphics, sound when crafting, stockpile for gems, cheaper rings made of wood and stone, &c. Will iterate!
[*]Rest assured that a Jotun Brilliant Diamond is a rare, but nice, thing.
While nice, it's just another band-aid: viewtopic.php?p=751556#p751556[*] Pumpkin lanterns should no longer decay on claims. Reported here.
Please no, gildings already suck bad enough for hermits.[*] We are considering, especially so in light of this patch, but regardless, introducing diminishing returns when slotting the same item type in several pieces of clothing (i.e. bear tooth in everything). Let us know how you'd feel about that.

That's odd, that should be fixed. I'll have to look into that.
In actual fact, it doesn't, but perhaps their intervals of attacking is too small to be meaningful. Will considering increasing it.

It's more that it's ugly, to be honest.
maybe rework gildings a bit so that they have restrictions on what types of clothing they can go on?
