so since this latest patch i can no longer access one of my cabinets with any char. im not sure exactly whats in there that is crashing my client but it happens every time i try to open it. i wasnt sure if this shouldve been posted under server status as maybe its somehow isolated to my client or pc issues maybe?

stop using fking custom clients right after a damn patch.
The first line of code tells us you're using a custom client.
