Also - stockpiles for gems pls, hell let me keep them on the pile of coal i don't care, just allow to be stockpiled

I would be happy with getting enough of them to actually having the problem of not knowing where to put them.

I personally think that the problem of slimes could be at least decreased by lowering the spawn numbers. Instead of having them appear in groups of 10-15, have them appear as one on level 1, 2 on level 2 and so on. As far as I can tell, it's the sheer numbers that are the problem, not the strength of the slimes themselves.

That was the point. You did it once as a newb and got horribly murdered, and then you learnt to never do it again.
Pretty sure slimes are unavoidable, unlike auroch herds.
