Hearth Gate:
Will take you to a small world(compared to current map).
In this world you will find magical creatures and loot.
Gate opens up once every week.
You compete with other hearthlings within it to get all the magic creatures/loot.

Also cavebulbs already had stockpile. Should have done meat or pepper stockpile in stead.

And on the topic of otters eating mussels they should give pearl on occasion if you butcher them.
My suggestion for animals is stork that spawns in swamp and eats frogs/toads.
If you butcher stork it has chance to give beak or half digested frog both being a curio.

Please no, even my idea was a bad one. This idea is arguably worse. We don't need the instanced bullshit that will start making this game like every other. It's lack of stuff like that is what makes it amazing.

I'd enjoy some type of group raids instance that villagers could gather and run through together but forced pvp or timegated pvp hotspots in general isn't really the right way to go imo

Well, a timegate battle royale style instance would be interesting... and would be limited to a handful of pvp factions as everything else would be cut down within 5 minutes.
