We have plenty of guides and such in the help section. Would be nice if there were at least a basic official manual, yes, but the community has stepped up and provided better than what we would probably expect from two people working on a project.

I don't disagree that one can use out of game resources to learn combat, but I still think the game needs something. Even a UI overlay that shows up the first time you try to fight something would be great. At the very least, put boxes around the different parts of the combat UI; e.g. "this is your combat deck, which can be edited in your `ctrl-t` menu."

Maybe I should look into contributing to Amber or something,.. have the dev's ever taken a commit or feature from another client and implemented into the base?
