Thanks a lot for the stream. Happy to hear your thoughts and see how you re-evaluate the early game. Hope we’ll see a new stream in a month.

Also, can you offer us “support a stream” hat next time? For shekel’s sake.

Could you do the next stream on a patch night?
Go on dev server, show off the new patch things for a bit then end stream and push the patch

10/10 best way to do it imo

The new combat system would be interesting to see you show off beforehand, just so we could see how you guys tested it and how you intended for it to be used

lol, we hold no illusions that our testing of the combat system even slightly resembles how it's used in practice. :)

Glad you guys have a realistic view on this. I know I've seen more than a few interviews with developers, or a developer ranting on the forums or in the game chat, about how players were abusing a system in ways never intended, yet couldn't figure out a way to fix the issues.

Idk how valhalla works, but if characters that died retained their inventory (at least a copy of it) in valhalla then you could use that place for testing new combat maybe?

The last time they rework combat they test it in valhalla first I think.

In regards to natural resource claiming, why not add a radius of faster decay around the resource that doesn't get completely negated by a claim. So anything built within the radius decays faster than normal, and if there is a claim, things still decay(maybe at a slower rate though?).
