Ooh that's neat hat, I might have to pick that one up soon.

Also, real interesting thread here...

This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

[*] Added "Wicker Picker", handheld basket which holds mushrooms, true herbs, fruits, berries, nuts, leaves, and flowers. The basket works pretty much like the buckets, in terms of needing to be equipped when full, and such. Please be gentle on what you bug report that you can't carry in it. Already decided against Mussels, Seashells & Cave Coral. Suggested plenty.

Great stuff! IMHO, the change with the barrels is one of the most game-changing things. Happy to see major steps taken towards the automatization and can't wait to see the next world's new political landscape. I used to make baking bots 80% based on the hassle of gathering all the ingredients together and filling cupboards with buckets of water and wheat. The next crucial things to change would be:
- to craft from the piles placed on adjacent tiles (2 tiles radii around the character), this would improve the problems with curio botting so much;
- auto-drinking while crafting stuff;
- auto-placing stockpiles while harvesting crops or mining;
- harvesting dreams in an easier way.

So much of this!

I think autostokpile can be easyly made similiar to landskaping mechanics. So you need only pleace stokpile near harvest/mine zone and all stuff will go in stockpiles.

Thank you. I'm afraid formalized development structures best described using words like "agile", and "holistic" will get laughed right out of here. If anything, there's a certain inherent agility in only managing two people.

I think over these many years they just got accustomed into self-management and working together in an efficient way, which is usually not available for new teams or in formal companies. I have no idea what I'm talking about though.

Yes, No, Yes (if it will work as similar thing to surveying land), Yes.

No auto-drinking please. I can understand rest but that one is just complete going auto for several minutes. I can see already some people complaining why auto-drinking wouldn't be implemented nearly everywhere... just no.
