Just give the credo access to a rare black pearl, instead of increasing the chance of the base, common, and popular river pearls...

First the strider credo came, now pvpers will sprint out to get this for the swim speed, meanwhile all the sprucecap warriors that are not that into being ganked by a 10k stat fully equipped toon might just as well stop up and let them kill you since it will be impossible to run or swim away. This is a bad development for the little guy.

noone is stopping you from doing these quests....

i doubt those 10k stat guys would bother in ganking you. they are to busy measuring their dicks and koing each other lul.

Honestly. for one of the most easily botted things in the game (pearls) idk why you would ever want to give a chance to buff it.

Unless gear also has a downside it'll be just one kind in use per slot.
Be it slowdown from being encumbrance or whatever, gear IMHO needs a bad side to make it less boolean.
