maybe make bows take cloth and re-add the ranger bow with hard leather and oak blocks

and make bows give a chance to wound the archer's hand from the arrow flying by. with something taking a ring slot to protect from it ¦]
and weapons give blisters without gloves

now that Salem is leaking you going to see a lot of players asking for annoyance mechanics

I'm not surprised? :ugeek:

Oh, and as far as those "annoyance" mechanics... pretty sure it was jorbtar that got that ball rolling a long time ago. Some can be a real pain in the ass, but others can be interesting additions if in the right spot and planned well. There's been a few missteps here so far, but there have been corrections, too, to make things less "I quit" to "suppose I can deal with it."

I left Salem when jorb and loftar did, it was not the same with out them.
