Hello, I really liked your stream show thing it was entertaining and had me at the edge of my seat.
First off, your game is amazing I’m a super supporter and will do my best to show my gratitude for your hard work.
I’d like to provide my perspective as a new Hearthling but experienced game player on the subject of SIEGE.
Admittedly, I have not yet even come close to hitting end game but I think even as a new player siege has a giant impact on gameplay. It’s taken me weeks of game play to make my humble abode something I can be proud of. It would be a shame to lose all that work to some twerp who came along and was able to smash my walls and shield.
I think the effort to siege a settlement should be equal to the effort put in to prevent such a thing.
It’s obvious there needs to be a way to get at enemies and to be able to raid abandoned settlements but there has to be a way for people that are active to be able to keep their foothold on the piece of the world they have.
The idea of making brick walls stronger is definitely something that makes “sense” in the game world.
In addition it would be cool to be able to add additional layers of defense to bases. Something like keeping vicious animals in areas to help deter people from setting up their vehicles in certain locations.
