It's entirely possible that the new tree generation process will result in new quest givers as well.

Question: is the buff to quality of nearby stuff gained through questgivers permanent or temporary?

I think they wear said to be permanent so long as the qust giver stays there (with the area they support the bonus).

I don't recall any qualifications on the bonuses. They were just permanent. At least, reading back through the patch notes, I'm not seeing anything.

It wouldn't really make sense otherwise. Would essentially make it mandatory to claim and protect every quest giver.

i'm disagree, it could be fun, but that creature is too strong to be worth, for a developed and fed char there no interesting from it(curio is good but its the only thing), for a new player there is no possibility to kill it without ranged attack.
