Question: If quest givers improve the quality of resources in areas around them, does this not increase the chances of people deliberately cutting down or chipping to death quest-givers in areas not their own? All things being equal you tend to visit nearer quest givers more often, so the loss to you if you take down a quest giver far away might seem worthwhile to some players. Using only local questgivers has become more likely, now that your chances of getting a reward useless to you has become much higher. If you travel for four rl hours and increase the local bay boletes by one point for your trouble you are less likely to prioritize quests that take travel. Furthermore, you might want to cut down distant quest-givers to increase the chances of questers being sent to do quests in your own area, and raising the local resources for you.
Is this the intended result of this development?
