This is strange, mine didn't leave the water.

Did you shoot it? None of mine have left the water yet either but I'm not using a bow. That would be great if they only do so if they're attacked from range, like a surprise.

Haven't played in months, but this looks pretty cool. I really like the quest buff for animals in region.

Nice patch but you still don't get bollocks when butchering un-castrated animals.

Seems this fish not affected by any credo - nor amount of meat from hunter credo, neighter quality bonus from strider or fisherman

Also first creature that cant be spitroasted.

I suggest some https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shagreen from it, ancient type of leather known..

The Angler looks very vicious!

Consider rephrasing the part about their speed to say simply that they're faster than coracle but slower than rowboat.

That's a great idea.

Also consider lantern lilies: Floating lily pad flowers identical to the angler fish's light. Sometimes picking them instead spawns an angler fish.

Question: If quest givers improve the quality of resources in areas around them, does this not increase the chances of people deliberately cutting down or chipping to death quest-givers in areas not their own? All things being equal you tend to visit nearer quest givers more often, so the loss to you if you take down a quest giver far away might seem worthwhile to some players. Using only local questgivers has become more likely, now that your chances of getting a reward useless to you has become much higher. If you travel for four rl hours and increase the local bay boletes by one point for your trouble you are less likely to prioritize quests that take travel. Furthermore, you might want to cut down distant quest-givers to increase the chances of questers being sent to do quests in your own area, and raising the local resources for you.

Is this the intended result of this development?
