ngl i more or less quit (for probably the 4th time this world) over not finding a snail, because it made me realize my list of things to do was pretty much just "look at what gets added week by week and perpetually grind more of what i already have" and that just turned out to not be fun. dunno how anyone can stand doing the whole song and dance for more than a couple months at a time.
