I completely forgot.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong) (I recommend you read it in it's entirety, but TL:;DR: Build a Palisade.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Tells you how to try and escape, and make it less likely to die when caught.)

On the subject of seasons, I agree with whoever it was who said 1 week per season is too short, seasons should be long enough to make you feel like they drag a little, by the end of a season you should want the next one. I would suggest you have 3 weeks per season and each week have some smaller changes along with other more obvious changes:
week 1: early summer - foragable flowers
week 2: mid summer -
week 3: late summer -
week 4: early autumn- snow on mountains increases
week 5: mid autumn - trees change colour
week 6: late autumn - snow spreads to areas around mountains
week 7: early winter - deciduous trees are bare
week 8: mid winter - snow almost everywhere
week 9: late winter - patchy snow & ice almost everywhere
week 10: early spring - snow retreats from low ground
week 11: mid spring - trees get green buds
week 12: late spring - trees flower

Basically what I am saying is a year should last 3-4 months and changes should be more gradual, it would also be nice if the severity of each winter was different, so some winters there might be snow everywhere and the ground is frozen where as other winters are more mild and there isn't so much snow.

Then seasons need be local (so there is always spring somewhere) so we don't end up with a similar problem to this one as people wouldn't see the point in spawning in the 'wrong' season.

Would only make sense in case the world is big enough (and the dimensions not collapsed by roads), else you could freely pick which season you want to instantly visit.
