My maps are fine but I heard about a couple of people having that same issue when using Ardennes client, they attempted to update or replace some files and somehow deleted their map files in the process. Not sure how or why that happens.

Not with Amber 1.70 for me (own map folder) - default client (only .jar used last days) got wiped for me too ... seems it doesn't read the cache C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\data while it still writes in there ...

Oh wow, crafting from stockpile sounds almost too good. Are we actually getting rid of tedium for once? How about bumping default inventory size back to 5x5?

This, to my mind, is much like the Pipeweed update. "Oh look the world will be large and separated... Except it won't."

Travel Weariness has been removed through the application of Pipeweed, and now meaningful realm expansion barriers have been removed by 'Build this, and build another one 48 hours later'.

The ocean is no longer a great impenetrable barrier between locations.

Now it's just water.

I also like the idea of colonizing. The realms could share authority, but they need to remake a significant amount of the buff totems to gain buffs in the new world. Making players naturally reject losing their buffs when the foreign invaders arrive, but stop caring when they get established. Just like in real life!
