It can't be called a war. Palisading and monitoring cairns is done almost entirely via alt spam.

The war isn't lost, it's just that "fighting" it is about as fun as popping a hemorrhoid. War should be fun and exciting, not.... this.

Do Archery Towers decay/disappear? I built one the first day of the patch and now it's gone.

It's hardly perfect. It's very easy to force a POS into reinforced mode so that it comes out exactly when you want it to if the defender doesn't manipulate the timers, and if the defender does manipulate the timers, then there is a huge advantage for them.

As i already wrote somewhere in this topic, current Eve siege system allows defenders to put a "vulnerability window" - a period of time when and only when their structures can be attacked, so they may plan defense with their timezone and RL jobs in mind. Yes, it may be count as an advantage, but it's not really "huge", 'cause they should make a one large window or a lot of smaller windows, so attackers still have a choice.

But, what is more important, after initial attack there's a timer starts counting till the real damage can be made, so both sides have time to prepare. I suggest to make both village claim and siege claim with siege machines to be invulnerable in this period (for, at least, 24 hours).

Structures with no fuel in Eve can be sieged with no timers, so may be done to claims in HnH wich run out of presence.

A claim without presence dosn't exist for any practical purposes, does it?

The only thing you need criminal acts on for is... breaking the totem... I think. I don't recall even picking up "visitor" on abandoned claims so far.
