Alas, the occasional .5-1.5 second lag is still there. Other than that, it's a smooth sailing. As it has been before the filesystem transfer. Not sure if this is a valuable input, hope you at least got that debugging data you've mentioned.

Thus far I agree, but it is also the case that the lag tends to be much worse when the server is newly started, so I'll wait and see.

It is certainly true, though, that switching filesystems hardly seems to have helped, at the very least. Unless the situation drastically changes during the day, I'll most likely revert it some time tomorrow. Doing so should be a smaller operation, since only the changed data needs to be copied back. Pondering my next move.

Have you considered wiping this garbage world and seeing if w12 fixes it?
