It's accessible early game and if you know the combination that gives low hunger is good variety food. It's fine as is. Even now it's good variety out of spare high-tier meats if you have excess (cachalot, orca, mammoth).

The painful part is discovery... as intended. Gotta give established players/factions as many advantages as possible.

Variety of choice is a good thing to add to the game, and while smoking some meats might be underwhelming - it is OK, IMO, not everything should be OP. Over time, of course, people will figure out tasty food combinations, even if they are just small pieces of variety-bonus foods.

please explain
Adjusted how Garden Pots calculate their soil and water levels. They can no longer be refilled immediately upon planting in them.
