that was like... 10, 11 years ago and a April Fool's joke.

If it really is some sort of alchemy, then it will be useful, even if extremely limited fashion, when implemented incrementally over time. Compare to seasons. That needed a full implementation when it hit the server, not the bit here and there that we've gotten over the last 9 months or so. Oceans are another decent comparison recently. They needed some extra work, too, and could probably use a bit more, some of which was needed when the idea was first implemented, not the next world or two.

maybe a dev-stream as an excuse-for-no-patch-month?
also, what will happen with bottom part of the candle once it's melted to the level of the holder? will we get a half candle back?
