That’s a very good point. After so many years of the default client being ignored by most players unless they have no other choices available, you’d think the devs would have learned by now that adding options for these features is a crucial part of that process in improving the default client... but apparently not.

You want the devs to waste time making the client better when other people already have? I'd rather they spend their time doing exactly what they are doing right now. Making more content and fixing and balancing current content.

I love the ambience this adds to the game,any possibility that a build like rain catchers for higher quality water could be added?

lol this game has been in development for over a decade, and in that time they haven't stopped relying on the very tiny community for not only client improvements but to make the client playable. It would have taken loftar an extra 5 minutes to add an option to turn rain off/on.

Some people have crazy clients, would be nice if instead of looking for a better client to maintain an advantage we could possibly get the QOL shit thats in other clients. Default client should be the stopgap between new players and moderately new players. As it stands my Mac players would rather not play (wait for customs to be patched and work again) than play the default client. That is saying alot since they are hella softcores. this game needs that new blood to get hooked.
