Game Development: Lupine Labyrinth

Postby jorb » Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:11 pm

We've been developing, and here's what's new.

New Implementations
-----------------------
  • Added "Wolf's Lair"s, a minor Dungeon type much like "Foxhole"s!

As always, if you liked what we did here: Support the patch.

Today's Patch Item, for the fair price of $9, is the "Threeflower Cap".

Store Description wrote:Image$9 Three are all good things, faith, hope, and love, and the flowers upon this field of blue.

All Gold & Silver subscribers have been awarded the "Threeflower Cap", free of charge.

In the Pipe
-----------------------
  • Again urging any custom client maker who wishes to stay relevant to get with the new rendering times. Support for the old resources will be dropped at some point.
  • Our primary development direction is toward object-controlled-objects.
  • Time to... like us on Facebook?
  • Time to... follow us on Twitter?

Enjoy!

found 10 packs of wolves no dungeon yet. like 40 grids of mountain passed. What's with spawn chance balance? Why 1 foxhole per grid and wolf lair so rare

In all likelihood, it's not that foxholes have a higher spawnrate, but just that they've had a longer time to spawn. Dungeons are generated in the background, so a new type that is added can take a bit of time to "reach equilibrium". Wolf lairs do also spawn on other terrains than foxholes, though.
