There's a similar story when I look at Agility, if that's better. To the extent that there are character that do appear to have suicided, they seem to have done so pretty early in the game.

is the aiming direction on bows being somewhat visually randomized intended too? is this a bug?

because if its not a bug, I think it merits being put on the changelist. Seems like a pretty major change to me

I dont think its happening with big frequency or regularity because 90% of players hate that its a thing and would rather just suffer having worse characters than bother with it

Why should death not be punishing? Why did you guys make this a perma death game in the first place?

Considering the only real ways you die nowadays are drowning or getting baited and outsmarted in a dungeon you might as well just remove the whole perma death mechanic anyway at this point rather than having it be some kind of reward for failure.

I for one am hyped about the new waterfall effects. But maybe I am just too dumb to get excited about numbers going up.
