- A bug in the "Dig Deeper" Hearth Magic made it possible for multiple characters to "Dig Deeper" simultaneously, without suffering the increasing XP cost of each iteration dug, and whereas;
- This bug was exploited to dig a well in the village "The Hearthland Herald" up to water quality 259, and whereas;
- The village "Twix Factory" has several non-trivial associations in persons and accounts with "The Hearthland Herald". and whereas;
- This bug has been demonstrably known by several parties since at least W12, and whereas;
- This bug has never been reported to the proper authorities, and whereas;
- This bug introduces a significant imbalance in the Deep Magic as it pertains to the quality distribution in the world.
Therefore

- The village "The Hearthland Herald", and its associated Realm "Cursed Obsidian NecroSanctum of Shadow" are forfeit, and the four winds now blow through their walls rent asunder, and;
- All accounts associated with "The Hearthland Herald" are now banned with no term limit, and;
- The village "Twix Factory" is placed under temporary interdict, and cannot be interacted with by its owners. The interdict will remain in place until Wednesday, and its owners have until then to appeal the otherwise impending forfeiture of said village, and;
- Various other accounts have been banned for their demonstrable knowledge of, and failure to report, this occult practice, and;
- As we wish to name and shame some particular individuals, let it be known that the following accounts are among the banned: Cayur, ChildhoodObesity, Dakkan, MrBunzy, talon00302, and SnuggleSnail, and;
- To clarify: All banned accounts are banned from the game, but retain their use of the forums.
