What does it mean powering machines?
Is this a future update, or something that already has any application?

Has that been answered somewhere?

All I can tell you that you is that you can build Milling Machine inside a watermill.

It's likely we'll see some new machine in the future. A machine to saw or chop logs is a good guess. Maybe a press to replace the extraction press (although less useful due to quantities), or something related to masonry somehow?

coming back every few days to read all this and seeing the same pvp clique telling everyone to learn pvp, when they their selves can basically not even pvp without their clients, exploits, and bots.
The echo chamber of the toxic pvp crowd here is such a small community and yet they get the biggest changes to their selves each time because they're the vocal group that will piss and shit into Jorb and loftars DM's while the casuals sit around not wanting to annoy the devs.

Jorb and loftar need to learn to tune out the cucks of pvp and make the game engaging again, not for this 1% crowd, and not so many advantages for the 1% pvp crowd.
WARNING! MY ENGISH SUCKS.

This change is a revert of a previous change that happened because another group of pvpers didn't want to learn a mechanic that has existed for half a decade. I can assure you that reverting this made pvp engaging again and not a water/food check.

Slowing animals as a credo reward was a good idea. I hope J&L eventually incorporate it back in but for hunter, so that critters and large animals can't run away at mach 5. Hopefully it would make hunting actually possible without being entirely reliant on aggro cheese to pull the animals back.
The speed boost mechanic for small critters should still be kept, remaining as the bandaid that it is to trick PvPers into thinking their minigame is a good one(it isn't, and the fact you can't even hand out free gear to get non-PvPers involved risk-free is proof of that).
