well this is a bug thats not even ingame, this bug is with the play button not working, i dont know if its just me or alot of people but i cant play. also dont know if its a bug or not but wtill thought it should go under this forum

I advise you to not use the default client (the big play button). Mostly everyone uses the Ender client. It's more of a "fair" game when using Enders.

Check if your browser is blocking it ( i.e. NoScript or AdBlock)
the button directs you to: http://www.havenandhearth.com/portal/autohaven
which you can download (autohaven.jnlp) and open with Java Web Start Launcher
(you need to have Java installed and working - in How do i? forum you'll find urls viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28086)
And Fiction is right: better use Ender if you want to play more and longer
