gauze doesn't heal my hard hit points.

I click to treat my head, but still my hard hit points are at 72, while my max are 147.
So what's up is a bug, because leeches do heal my hard hit points, but gauze doesn't seem to do it.

Do you have a gauze equipped in your head slot after treating your head? Make sure you take off your helmet/hat before doing so.

Also it takes some time for the gauze to heal you:

I didn't want to say anything and seem like a nooblet, been here a few worlds, and I'm having hesitation with wearing gauze too, on my wandering alt, first half hour, nada, then it starting filling up slowly until I got my 1/3.

It was q8 to be fair, someone with more resources at hand feel free to experiment, might just be slower than I remember.

Yeah, I looked into it, My thirty minute delay before the first tick still seems odd, I tried it again and it went through as per usual.
Maybe I derped and lost HHP and forgot, seems the most likely thing.
