Does quality of skull matters?

Hello everyone. As i died cause by bot, i've decided to study my old skull.
It was 15kk lp hearthling, with 86 psy. As i calculated, it will be 150 000 lp base, ~450 000 lp with quality, and total ~2 300 000 lp gain with 516% learning ability.
But i got only ~500-600k lp. As i understand, quality isnt making an influence?

Did you even read? Psy 86 = 86 quality skull, wich means that could be x3 multuplier.

Then what is the quality from a skull used for? Only to improve the skull cup quality?
