Crafted a bow and was LQ

Postby gamecode » Wed Sep 16, 2009 8:50 am

I crafted a bow with Q14 and Q11 plant fiber, and 2 Q10 sticks. I have carp 10, dex 15, survival 12.
I ended up with a Q7 bow. I would like to know how that happened. Thanks

A stat might have affected it too.

And maybe another skill.

Quality is always lowered whenever something is put crafted, my q70 leather turned into q54 armor, despite having 150 points in sewing.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

You need dexterity as well. We should put in some more food for that.

Let's see... the only food is worth 1, maybe 2 FEP and most players have at least 30 points in something, they all started at 10... So each player needs to eat at least 300 of those mushrooms...

Yeah, I think that maybe some more Dex sources might be needed. Maybe a 100 Dex cheese? 50 Dex? Call it Nimble Niolo. (thank you, cheese.com)

Or maybe add apes or octopi to the game and make them give a nice 5 dex. I can't think of many other animals that are likely to be considered dexterous.

I wonder if they make sausages out of mushrooms. I suppose 'Shroom-smoked rabbit sausages might be nice for 10 or so FEP.
Surprise.

Maybe a few other super foods for the old stats as well.

Int and agility could use a bit easier way of getting them.

Actually I suppose that now it might be a little easier.
A few high quality honey buns, high quality deer dogs, high quality jorbonzola(when domestication comes in anyway, can't make good cheese without good milk.)
