The Symbel

Evening, gentelmen.
Today I realized I can't live eating from porcelain plate anymore. I stole took 8 nuggets of gold and a q92 Goldbeater's skin, and pressed "craft" button with joyness. But then I was like "Whuuuuut?!". The plate was only q45.
Here're the stats:

The question is what could possibly cap it at q45?
Oh, by the way, i forgot to mention: psyche was at 96 with tabacco buff, when I crafted that.

Well, I have no idea what you wanted to post, but... I tried different formulas (since I'm not 100% sure it's only softcapped by psy) and none of them leading to the result i got. Also, I don't remember that happened back in W5.

No, it doesn't require hammer and anvil, same as other jewelry.

As fair as I know its bugged, You get half the quality you're meant to get. That's what I heard anyway.

Thinking about that: 0.5*92=46, not 45. Or is it (x/2)-1 ?
Oh and btw, as i said before, back in w5 it was alright, at least i didn't notice and/or remember any Q reducement for gold plates back there.
Doubt that the bug suddenly appeared in w6.
There definitely should be a point i'm still missing... But i still can't find it.

Obviously soft-capped by stealth.

I tried to figure the cube root of psy * smith * str as a softcap, but the number comes out too low.... :/

The cube root of those is ~86, seems that's not it... Still have no idea what's going on. I might thing it's bugged, as AAlex said, but cmon! half of quality -1? That's weird.
