Area completely destroyed?

Postby AlexFili » Sat Oct 24, 2009 10:01 am

I started a place with my friend and now every single part of land there is just completely levelled... no walls, no baskets, no debris... nothing!
Please help me find out what happened :(

Nope.. All buildings, all trees, all ridges, all items in the entire supergrid are gone.

This is really bad. I hope we can restore from a previous backup of the area or something :(

If dont right, the single supergrid rollback will not affect other supergrids (hopefully)

But Myself and many others completely lost everything and a rollback is kind of required.

That's... bad. I do know now why it happened, but explaining it is just a couple of technical details that I don't think anyone is interested in. At least, I can pretty much assure that it won't happen again.

Unfortunately, the last working backup I have of that part of the map is a week old. It sucks, but restoring from that backup is pretty much all I can do at this point. The chunk of map which was destroyed is not a supergrid, but a macrogrid (which is 1/25 of a supergrid (area-wise)).

Thanks Loftar. It was unlucky that it happened to us, but at least we're making the game more reliable for everything else!
