Regarding the change to Travel Weariness

Postby btaylor » Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:28 pm

I made a new character. He is currently walking around Brodgar. I logged out of the game because I had something to do. When I logged back in using "Where you logged out" option, I noticed he had accumulated Travel Weariness. I decided to test this further. I logged out again. Upon logging back in where I logged out, his Travel Weariness, again, increased.

Now my new character has about 1/4 Travel Weariness accumulated and he hasn't even done any traveling.

Quite. Go ahead and make a throw-away character, and keep logging in and out with him. The TW will rise.

Oh, right. That obviously needs fixing. :)

Since BTaylor is a noob that had to start a fresh character again as his previous one died somehowe while fighting a boar and the server crashed, this after surviving a 6 hour trip to our new town, much overland with great hardships, <tears & tissues over here>... maybe he qualifies for a small reward for this?

This man deserves a cape.
The bug has immobilized my character. I have beer made but no metal to make a stein to drink from.
While we are on the subject, could travel Weariness drop when the character is well fed?
Just asking :)

Btaylor deserves an award, he's one of the few noobies who has really taken to the game well and also helped other players out. Him and Sarge. Sarge is insanely good at this game and he's only been playing for 3 1/2 weeks...

Give the man a cape!

Sarge, you always post useful information, and you're always asking intuitive questions, rather than the boring old run-of-the-mill questions. Plus, you always help a newb out if you see one :D

Not overstated. It's true :p
