Java update 45, default client - Connection refused: Connect

I just had a java update , I can get up to the login screen on the game, but it won't let me saying "Connect refused: connect". yet the Ender Mod works just fine. Is this just me or a larger problem and if it is just me, is there anyway to fix it?

i try to log in and play but it wont connect it says connection refuse connect i checked my java and it good and working i cant thing of an thing else to do what else can i do any help is great

same, just updated a few hours ago and now can't play... CONNECTION REFUSED. Oh well it was fun while it lasted... thank you

Why the heck would you even wanna use the basic client anyway?

Using Ender's is a must!

ok i just leted the new java and replaced the old java it workedfor me

I updated my java last night and afterwards tried playing the game and I get 'Connection Refused: Connect' after I try logging in. I uninstalled java and reinstalled it that didn't work. I tried opening the client through the website that didn't work. Any ideas?

Edit:
I just tried the endars/enders game mod and that won't run either.
