Unable to launch the application

I came to give this game a try as it looks like something really fun and I am looking for something to start playing with friends but at the moment I cannot launch the game. I have downloaded both x86 and x64 versions of standard PC Java and SE but that did not assist me at all. I have downloaded both ver.7 and ver.8 of the Java SE and that took me nowhere as well. needed Ports: 1870 UPD and 1871 TCP

you may try different network settings in Java Contol Panel too (Start - Programs -Java - configure Java /or search jcp.exe)

I opened the ports as you said and changed the network settings in the Java window but they didn't work :S Would you like me to post the Exception and Wrapped Exception logs again in case something has changed?

What connection are you usin PC -Router , Router - Internet and what brand / model is your Router?

Tried them and they didn't work either.

All the connections are done via an ethernet cable and the router is going into a box on the wall. My provider is Virgin Media UK and what I use as my router is the Super Hub.
