fishing rod glitch

this for me is a game breaking bug because i rely on fishing for getting food, as i cannot farm effectively and there are no fruit bearing trees where i started

if you use lures, you end up breaking your rod without it being broken. There must be a glitch in the coding because even after all brand new pieces , new rope, new lure, new rod, it still says "incomplete" rod unable to fish.

The problem is this, normally it will register the lure and it will work and count as bait and be able to fish, but what happens after a while is the lure fails to register and it occupies the bait section of the rod, without registering on the rod, even the picture will show only a hook.


and im sure there will be a couple kids who try to say "well you must have broken parts!" thats not true because i just stated i would replace every single part of the fishing rod, including new lure, new rope etc., normal worm bait works fine, and after that a brand new lure worked for 1 time then failed to work again, and it still occupied lure slot.

oh nvm I see you said hook. Live baits always only get 1 use. Just add a new lure/bait.

i gotta say, i do a lot of fishing and i've never had a problem like this. what kind of lures?

just to make sure, right click your rod and "unequip". it should dump a string, a lure or bait, and a hook into your inventory. if it doesn't it means one of those broke and needs to be replaced.

no im not an idiot here, ive done unequip it drops all items, even with bait it still fails to recognize there is bait on the line, but i just managed to get it working, with bait. then my lures started working again, and i don't know for how long before it glitches out again,

like i said ALREADY there are no broken parts i would construct all new parts (jesus can you read ppl?)

Edit: Oops, on re-reading I see that you DID try a new rod. I see that we H & H'ers don't read very carefully....

I can empathize with that reliance on fish. I have a character who started out on an island with nothing but fir trees on it and no other usable terrain types.

I think this faggot is just fucking it up somehow. I fish and haven't had any sort of bug like this recently. Perhaps we might have been able to help him if he had spent less effort bitching like a kid who got told 'no' at walmart and more time being concise then not every single one of else would have had to edit our posts because his writing style is so FUBAR we all missed what would have been obvious details in a more concise (and less whiny) presentation.

Actually you need to just stop posting altogether, since this is your 2nd insulting post in my thread because your fat neckbeard ass needs an ego boost im going to give you an ego check. nobody gives a fuck about you, its a legitimate bug and needs to be fixed. 1) remade the entire setup multiple times
2) same setup failed to work 50 times ended up working later on for no reason other than glitch reset or entire thing stopped glitching
3) its a glitch deal with it, if "Chakravanti" keeps posting in threads of mine claiming its not a glitch, he's just out to defame what im writing, ive only written in maybe 3 to 4 threads meanwhile in a couple short days i most likely topped his entire /played time in what ive been messing around with

Second, in the past several days ive most likely topped your playtime and ive done a shit load of experimenting with the game, i am no retard and ive been playing games since MUDs on a 56k modem, I don't need some fat little fuck liek you trying to tell me im somehow messing up. I clearly stated the first time that i remade everything multiple times and still it would glitch, then i later replied the glitch undid itself and somehow i could fish again, with the same setup that wouldnt work earlier. If you cannot post anything productive don't say anything at all, which i can contribute would be 90% of all your posts ever made, because you do nothing but spam useless posts left and right like some stupid kid from gaia online.
