You can put the totem up, but it may as well be free land.

Basically claims underground act as if they do not exist, this is a terrible bug for goontown as we have most of our cabins downstairs and people want to claim areas for themselfs.
This needs to be fixed soon.

Yeah, this is an issue for the goontown because we have an apartment complex of sorts set up underground, and people want to be able to keep their area private.

if you claim the hole everything inside is claimed too i think. They added that for the meanwhile until they fix the possibility to build some constructions in a mine. Wonder if they will though.

Confirmed.

Are you certain?

The underground sections of Goontown are manipulatable by non-village members. True, they we only able to get down there because of pre-set hearthfires, but, if the entire mine was claimed by Goontown shouldn't they of had trouble interacting with objects?

Nope. I just created an alt to test it and entered the mine. With criminal acts off everything is manipulable.

Granted using the mine itself to gain access is a crime, but once down there everything is free game.

Moreover, I found another bug (or maybe it's intended): If you're partied with someone, you're considered part of the town.

Well, it is only personal claims that count for insides of cabins and mines, not village authority. It can be argued that that should be fixed, but it is that way currently.

And it is, indeed, intended that you can generally manipulate the same things as those in the same party as yourself.

Cool if it's decided that's the way things are supposed to work but personal claims aren't working either.
