I don't know what's going on, i can run games like minecraft, runescape and other java based games, but this one is freaking out on me. I really REALLY want to play this game, and it's just an absolute shame that there's nobody with the answer to my questions. I don't know java, i don't know how to program/rewrite paths in java, and i sure as buttons don't know how to fix this mystery problem by myself. I may be a minority in my problem, but there seem to be a few people with this problem, so who's to say that more people aren't turning away from this game due to a malfunctioning startup program? Maybe the few people that post on the forums represent fifty or more potential players that could be on H&H right now, but decided not to because of a compatibility glitch in the system. I've been working on this amidst exams and papers for about a week now, and i've come up with nothing. The separate launchers and browsers offered don't work any more than the main launcher here on the site.

Once again, I ask that ANYBODY who could possibly have a solution or fix to this problem to HELP ME.

I definitely don't want to go through the process of learning classes and variables in java just to find out that it's a simple matter of typing a few words to fix it. I'm really frustrated right now, and seeing as how H&H is such an amazing looking game, i don't want to give up on it, but if things keep going the way they are now, i might have no choice. I don't want to keep wasting my time messing around with something i know close to squat about, and i definitely don't want to keep getting this error.

ANY help is appreciated

Yeah, it's definitely running the java web service. It's standard to run .jnlp on my computer. Still, no solution to the problem unfortunately. Maybe it's a matter of decompiling and adjusting class variables to fix the broken paths. ALTHOUGH it says SPECIFICALLY in the TOS that modification of game files in any way is not allowed. Hopefully someone can do that for me, or i can get special permissions...?

Maybe, but something is wrong, and I still have no idea what. It's kind of irritating.

I'm running an HD compliant Radeaon card, plenty of ram, i don't think that would be the problem though. It most likely would be the java, and i don't know how to fix that.

The error means that gluegen-rt.jar for some reason isn't in your classpath when running the client. I must admit, though, that I have no idea why that would happen. It has happened at times due to download errors (which JWS, apparently, doesn't handle very well :P), but I've never seen it happen deterministically like that.

Maybe there's some kind of weird bug in the Java version you use? You may want to try some historical version or something; the Haven client is compatible with Java 1.5, so you could try that.
