Character seemingly deleted

I'd like to know why I could see myself alive though. He wasn't a skeleton.

The character remains "unskeletized", but lying down, for an in-game day after dying. It is weird that you say that you could choose "follow" on him, though... I thought I had disabled that. I'll check it out.

That's the odd part.

I believe there was another instance of this long ago, where a character starved to death in front of the inn and was still standing up.
Possible re-occurance?

Oooh, yeah. There might be some truth to that. It's quite possible, indeed, that starving won't "fell" the character. Thanks!

Just confirming that I have seen numerous 'dead' characters not falling over, just standing there like creepy zombies.

confirming the confirmation, my own characters have remained standing after starving to death

they also cannot be stolen from, apparently
