Make sure to run autohaven with Java Web Starter (javaws).
I can log in, however I get errors such as
javax.media.opengl.GLException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Delayed error in resource paginae/craft/conecow (v2), from forking source backed by HTTP res source (https://www.havenandhearth.com/res/)

whenever actually doing something.

lol! accoding to that thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16281&start=0
all run into Linux but me.
@Linux(Ubuntu) : Works flawless, can triple box
@Ubuntu Linux 9.10 Performance raising: Great, I can run multiple instances of the game and they run steady.
@If you play on linux, even a netbook can run HnH.
@My advice: Get a laptop/netbook of the resolution you want and install Linux on it.

But me! WTF

Hi
I`m a nooby here and eager to play the game. Unfortunately, the server won`t let me pass in. "Could not connect to server. Connection timed-out". The server is working fine though. I also tried unofficial clients (changing to moltke.seatribe.se) - the same story.
I`m using Win2000 without any firewalls. Antivirus is turned off for not causing problems for the game. How to log in???
Help me please!

P.S. moltke.seatribe.se is pinging well

Maybe you need new Java for your OS, or your system doesn't supports new Java version.

I`m using jdk-6 with update 24 downloaded and installed yesterday. It appears to be up-to-date.
Reading the forum i saw a post where they say: in some cases related to loging-in an intervention of game administrator is needed. Could it be my case?

Was able to work around this in Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit with the Sun JRE by going to
System > Preferences > Sun Java 6 Plugin Control Panel
Then go to Advanced > Mixed code and check Enable - hide warning and run with protections.
Click Apply and try launching again.

Scratch that... still can't fully log in :(

I've gotten further with Ender's Client by adding -Djava.library.path="/usr/lib/jni/" after installing gluegen-rt with apt-get, also had to manually compile it from the source(at github) which I'm not sure I did right. Having either could not connect to server or connection timed out. I don't exactly remember everything I did b/c I gave up... sigh.

Edit: I also installed libjogl which also goes to "/usr/lib/jni/" I'm thinking that maybe I need to compile them into jars from somewhere in the git package... Have sun java 6u25 and did the workaround to get it working in firefox 4 which was default with my 11.04 natty install.

This appears to be a common problem with OpenJDK. I'm pretty sure it's a bug in its SSL implementation. Try installing Sun's JDK instead and see if that works. It's available in Ubuntu as sun-java6-jre.
