It's a bit of both. There's an Athlon 64 based system next to me and it has zero problems running HnH. It boots up and runs like a charm. On my personal system, it can take me 10-15 minutes for Ender's to load properly, usually being stuck with a screen like that. Short of cleaning out trying a clean install to see if there's some driver problem or latent virus, I can't figure anything out to fix it. However, as I posted above, loftar has already said there is issues with the client code loading resources and getting stuck at times for some people.

The only thing I can suggest is: keep a fresh copy of Ender's and replace regularly; keep the cache flushed in Java; try updating all drivers if possible. I don't know if any of those will help or not.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

That's the lighting overlay that is typically disabled in custom clients. It is red-brown for dusk and blue for night. There's nothing wrong with it besides ugliness, that's how the game is supposed to look.

Looks like you are having some problem loading terrain textures.

well yea that might be but i always..really...ALWAYS get this and crash when i enter the house or leave the house, or use my hf teleport.
thus, i tried it on another computer(to check wether just my computer is troubleshooting me or the game  ), i even had to download java lol. i also downloaded ender n stuff. now i have like a 50:50 to crash...and right now my screen is black lol at least the ground of the game
