A WWW fills 200 hunger. You won't be able to eat it at more than 90% full since you'd over-gorge, afaik.

Maybe that was it.

I did remove the WWW from the table and travel back home with it and tried feasting there. It did work there. If it was not hunger level maybe it had to do with feasting in a cave. I don't know. Ill continue to test it.

No, it doesn't matter where you eat at, only that you're sitting in a chair at a table. I would think that the check is done based on modified hunger fill, and that could be as low as filling 20 hunger with a great table setup.
