Make sure to post your error logs. Are you having the same problems with vanilla or one of the other clients? If you're getting something dumped to the console and don't get to save it before it closes, add the "Pause" command to the batch file at the end so it looks something like this:

Code: Select all
javaw -Xms512m -Xmx768m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se
pause

Thanks. I'll do that.

But I'm not getting anymore error logs.

Literally all that happens is I'm playing and now and then the client just freezes. I can't open or close the clients window, and sometimes it turns white and that "Java binary" message pops up.

I have the same issues with the vanilla client.

Are graphics drivers up to date or have you updated them since this started? If yes, try going back to the older version of your video drivers.

Has Java updated since this started? If so, you might need to remove and reinstall Java. It's possible something got corrupted when it patched.

Otherwise, I'm flat out of ideas without more bug reports.

This problem has existed since I started playing H&H on this laptop.

My drivers are all up to date.

I think this is what you mean by graphic card Borka? Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

I don't have any 'bug' reports... so, could this be caused by like...one out of hundreds of different reasons? there is a lot of search results on google but nothing is working for me. This really sucks.

It could be an issue of the driver you've found not working well with OpenGL. It's been reported with some of the drivers in the past.

Thanks MagicMan. I'll check a couple things out and post back if nothings fixed.

tkearns, I tried that twice and it doesn't seem to fix my issue. I appreciate that though thanks.

seems you have older drivers looking at your "old style" control panel - with newer drivers it should look different...

assuming your Windows language is english:

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/

Automatically identify and find drivers

The Intel® Driver Update Utility keeps your system up-to-date. It detects which driver updates
are relevant to your computer, and then helps you install them quickly and easily...

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/i ... 023713.htm

Intel OpenGL support information

PM me your notebooks manufacture and model name and number ( see sticker at bottom)

Thanks Borka.

"Product Detected Intel® GM965
Current Driver Installed 7.14.10.1227
A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer. "

-Customized- does this mean I'm very unlikely/not able to find an update for it online or something?
